Hydration-Ready Front-Loading Main Compartment (click to view images)
Top zip pouch includes:
  • 1-liter soft felt inner pocket - perfect for sunglasses and goggles
  • 1/4-liter zip mesh pocket - keeps your valuables, lotions and creams within easy reach while in motion. Also contains a handy key clip for those end-of-day "where the heck are my car keys" moments.
Mid zip pouch includes:
  • In the 1- liter stretch mesh mid-pocket you’ll find the helmet holder with two hooks that make it easy to secure your helmet when you don’t need to have it on your head.
Main Compartment includes:
  • A feature not usually seen on other brands is the fully-opening lid, for full access to all your gear, whether your skis are strapped to the side or your snowboard is strapped to the front. Four zipper sliders make this opening convenient in any location, and if you’re down, you can open the compartment and use the lid as a bivi sit pad while you’re waiting for help.
Inside you’ll find:
  • 2 fabric pockets on inner lid for valuables, goggles, lotions, etc..
  • 2 vertical fabric shove-in gear pockets (2" diameter x 12" length) for holding avalanche probes, avalanche equipment, and for climbing skins.
  • 2 zip stretchy mesh pockets on each wing to conveniently hold small things where you can easily locate them.
  • Also a pocket that will hold a small snow shovel, and another pocket for its handle. We believe shovels should go inside the pack so if you take a full header you don’t lose it in the fall.
  • Upper and lower tie down straps to hold any loose items into the back of the pack so that gear will stay firmly in place, eliminating load-shifting, as you traverse the slopes.
  • There is a two liter hydration bladder holder and a clever exit portal for the hose which then runs inside one of the zippered shoulder straps. Your body heat will warm the shoulder strap and hydration hose. We do this by putting holes in the inner part of the shoulder strap's foam.

PS: Because of the full opening quality of this ski pack, it has been adopted by many rescue squads for both winter and summer mountain rescue work.  If you have interest in this adaptation, or with other options and special customization possibilities, please contact us for a sample.
